I have a totally professional, small- to mid-sized sound system for hire. I can run top-quality sound for rooms with capacities from 50 to 500 people (depending on the type of event).

Pictures at right are from some past events I have engineered. Other events I have been hired for but are not pictured, include:

Vance Kelly (Upbeat blues/funk - on the festival stage seen at below right - my camera died too early. Boo. They were great.)
Joey Dee & The Starlighters, featuring Bobby Valli (50's - 70's pop, many of their own hits). "Thanks - you did a great job [with the sound]." - Bobby Valli (brother of Frankie)
(2) Ten-Band Metal Fests - Congress Theatre, Chicago - Mixed ten bands over the course of 6 hours on a 40-channel Allen & Heath GL4000, without a hitch. Very happy clients.

Experience crystal-clear sound at pubs, bars, corporate events, dinner clubs, loft parties, backyard bashes, small festival stages, and of course, more! The listings below focus on musical events, but other events (speaking only, etc.) can be accommodated.

The Packages:
All Sound Packages include a highly-qualified Sound Engineer, unless noted. This is so that you will definitely sound superb.....and also so that everything runs smoothly. For any additions / omissions / substitutions to any of these packages, just call me at (847) 668-2665, or email me - I'll try my best to stay within your budget.

A word about RATES SHOWN BELOW:
Rates are set based on operating expenses, and on the high quality of the equipment and service provided. Sound rates average around $3.00 per audience member (estimated in advance, to provide correct sound). This is reasonable, and should be figured into any cover charge or ticket price. The rates shown below are for jobs hired and/or paid for by Companies, Corporations, and Promoters.

PERFORMING ARTISTS hiring and paying for these services themselves can get a discount, and should call for a quote. I do this because I am also a performing artist, and I feel their pain.

Package One: "The Cafe" - $250.00
(Fee includes equipment drop-off and pick up only. Sound Engineer costs extra.)
This system will effectively entertain 50 - 75 people.

Package Two: "The Local Pub" - $375.00
This system will effectively entertain 100 - 125 people.

This is a great setup for a band in the typical small bar where you don't need to mic every single intrument, just the typically-quieter ones, like vocals, acoustic guitars, and keyboards.

(*featuring high-quality compression for vocals, to eliminate sudden volume spikes);
- Two (2) Bag End speakers (200/400 watts ea.)
- Two 500-watt subwoofers
- Three (3) 12" monitors (175/300 watts ea., on one mix);

LIGHTS are not included. Add eight "par 56" lights (4 multi-colored lights per side, on stands) for $150 extra.

This is a great setup for the typical three- or four-piece band (extra monitors for more players are available, for a fee) who doesn't want to worry about sounding great at the show. Why struggle to run your own sound, when first-class sound is available at such a great price?

- Two (2) 12", 2-way Bag End Speakers (200/400 watts ea.)

- All pro mics / stands / cables / direct boxes;
- Professional-quality reverb, applied with skill and good taste.
NOTE: Extra monitor speakers are available for $30 each, up to six total, but only on 4 mixes.

- One (1) 12" 175/300 watt monitor;
- One vocal mic for the DJ
